Nico Lundquist

Hello, I am Nico Lundquist, founder and owner of Nico’s Flooring. I decided early that college was not for me and that I wanted to build my own business. My philosophy was simple, at the age of 19 while still living at home, that was the perfect time to take a shot at my dreams. If I failed I already lived at home so the risk was worth it. When I graduated from Legend High school I built a successful handyman business in two years employing 2 technicians and serving the greater Denver metropolitan area. We completed small residential projects up to small commercial remodels at Verizon.

I knew that Handyman work was going to be fruitful but I wanted something more specialized that I could really hone my skills at and I choose flooring. With my experience in hiring and business development I assembled a team and we began work. The vision is to inspire young entrepreneurs to find their purposes and move toward their dreams. It’s a hard path and I can attest my success so far to the deep reflection I have done on my purpose and the lord above.

Currently, we are bringing a whole new process to how floors are done. We have developed a system to measure, design, and bid a floor in under an hour on the spot at our clients homes. We serve very busy professionals and time is the most important so we are incredibly efficient without missing a thing. At the end of your design consultation we have a floor plan made and a map of where all materials will go with some visual representation. Our visual representation is always being refined.

Brogan Johnson

My name is Brogan Johnson, and I am the project manager at Nico’s Flooring. Just out of highschool, Knowing that I was going to go against the grain and not go to college, I began working for a custom deck building company where I learned many valuable skills that have propelled my career to where I am now. I worked on many beautiful projects and refined my skills in framing, steelwork, and finish carpentry. This company laid the foundation of all my skills, and shaped me into a man that could work on a team, and tackle large projects.

After I had gained sufficient experience in the field, I went out and started a deck building business of my own. Though I had plenty of knowledge about building, I soon realized that I had much to learn about business itself. The whole experience was a rollercoaster, and I learned a lot about working with my crews, Learning how to manage my clients and their projects in a satisfactory manner, and solving a variety of problems that come with each project; both physical problems and technical problems alike. I built some great relationships.

Further refining my skills, and learning a lot about how to bring a client’s ideas to life. Finally, the time came where I was looking to expand, which meant that I needed to find some more High-Level thinkers to work with me, and handle the intricacies of the business. This is when Nico came to me, and proposed that we start building a company together. With my prior experience, he wanted me to manage all of the undertakings and intricacies of the projects.

My name is Steven Abramson, the CSO and CO-Owner at Nico’s Flooring. I am originally from California, but I moved to Colorado when I was nine and I grew up right here in Parker, Colorado. Right out of high school I knew that college wasn’t the right move for me, I took the chance at becoming an entrepreneur and chasing my dreams. I knew by taking this route it would lead to a lot of hard work, but hard work is not something I shy away from, I embrace it!

After I graduated high school I was still unsure of exactly what my path would entail. I knew that I wanted to do something that brought me financial freedom and gave me the most valuable asset in the world, time. I became an avid stock day trader becoming fascinated with the market and economic state of the world. I was growing my knowledge in the world of finances and still trying to figure out what business venture I wanted to truly partake in.

At the beginning of 2024 Nico invited me on to become a partner of Nico’s Flooring alongside Brogan and himself. I jumped at the opportunity because it allowed me to surround myself with two young men just like me. We are hungry ambitious young men trying to break societal norms and create an empire for ourselves. I am currently acting as the CSO of the company and completely building out our sales process. I am taking all of my experience of the world to build a sales process that is fast, efficient, and brings each client the best solution.
