Hello, I am Nico, owner of Nico’s Flooring. Before I talk about the history of the business, let me share my story. I grew up in Parker, Co. When I was a kid, I had a knack for building things. My dad and I would build wooden go-karts in the garage. As I became older, I started to create little motorbikes by taking apart snowblowers and lawnmowers. This taught me a lot about problem-solving and not quitting because I made many mistakes. Additionally, I became really good at working with my hands. To fund my motorbike addiction, I mowed yards in the neighborhood and started to build a book of business.

During school, I would learn about business and how to improve my mowing business while simultaneously building the bikes. I learned that I could offer aeration in my business and started doing that, which further grew my book of business. Fast forward to the end of school, I decided college wasn’t for me, and I started a handyman business called Nico’s Handyman Services. I hired a teammate for the next two years and learned a lot. I discovered that I wanted to offer services that I could perfect. Thus, Nico’s Flooring was born.
